Ricard Shuster is a Louisville native and a 1978 graduate of the University of Louisville School of Law. Upon graduation he spent 2 years in Washington, D C at the I.R.S. He returned to Kentucky in 1981 and associated with Frank Haddad, Jr. Bobby Haddad and his uncle, Harris Berman.

Richard’s primary areas of practice are bankruptcy, family law, disability, and wills & probate. But the main focus of his practice has always been, and will always be, you his client. Giving Back to Our Community

Richard believes in giving back to the community and since 2005 has been assisting with and conducting Freedom 101, a personal growth seminar, in county jails in Kentucky and southern Indiana. He developed and pioneered the About Money seminar used in jails to promote financial literacy Richard was recognized with the prestigious “WLKY Bell Award” for his many hours of volunteer time while adding this unique contribution to the development of the Freedom 101 & program. In working with the Freedom 101 students, Richard’s motto for them is, “It is never too late to become who you were meant to be.”
